My Topical Scalp Psoriasis and Body Approach:

Castor oil psoriasis wrap treatment – apply a generous amount of castor oil, then apply some to a cotton flannel rag or shirt, apply that (optional), then wrap in BPA-free plastic wrap and put on clothes, socks, leave for a couple hours the first two weeks, then go up to a few hours.
For castor oil and scalp psoriasis, you can use a shower cap. Wet the hair with warm water then pat dry. Apply castor oil to your finger tips and rub throughout the lesions on the scalp good. Put on a shower cap and a headband to keep it on. Leave on for a few hours or overnight. Then on to the bath, or shower, to gently remove the softened plaques of dead skin and wash your scalp following my steps above. It will feel AMAZING!

Remove the wraps and run a Bath with coconut oil, borax powder (you can also use a quality epsom salts, himalayan pink salts and/or dead sea salts), an essential oil blend you like and some body wash, soak for at least 20-30 minutes and gently remove the caked dead skin with rag, deep rhythm breathing, put on some music or a podcast and study your plan.

After your bath, do a warmish-cool shower, add a quarter-sized amount of shampoo, rub into palms well, then apply to the scalpline and rub the shampoo out through the hair. Work it into the scalp well, and let sit for 1-3 minutes as you wash your body, rinse out well and pat dry.

Apply the organic lotion and rub in well. You can apply as many times as you like throughout the day. I keep a bottle at home and in the office.

Add another coating of lotion as start to dry out during the day, this lotion also cleans the cracks, you can dab on more castor oil to the lesions themselves to.

A drop of essential oils can be rubbed into the bottom of the big toes, thumbs, inner wrists and lower earlobes as well. I then take a few deep breathes into my hands for aromatherapy. Start VERY small with this and work your way up. Start with just your thumbs and fingertips, then to the toes, and then ears.

Staying in front of the dead skin brings immense relief, especially on the scalp, ears, feet and hands.

Repeat this process as often as needed to get in front of the skin schedule while you follow my guide to heal from the inside-out, add in the Liquid Regimen to your diet you do now.

You can also get a diffuser for your home, add a few drops of essential oils, fill with filtered water and breathe in healing whenever you are home! Every time I walk by my diffuser I stop and take in some deep breathes. It’s nice. I just got this one for the house – [amzn.to/33P7Emx]

Wow, the last three months have been rough. I know I am always very positive and optimistic, but I am also tangible and practical. I´m going to cover the growing pains I have been going through over the past 90 days.

Shortly after I wrote a post about not sweating the small Guttate spots, I noticed the rashes that were forming as the Psoriasis spots first began to heal were growing steadily.

Well, on about November 10th, that rash increased fast and furious. I know for sure now, that there is infection of some kind driving my Psoriasis. How do I know? Because as the spots disappear I am going through a viscous exhaustion process through every pore of my skin.

Thick brown gunk, splitting skin at my neck, elbows and back of knees; lots of plasma oozing out, welts, bumps and zits.

All sorts of signs of my body fighting a bacterial infection, yet not one being a typical sign of Psoriasis symptoms.

The beauty of this process has been the almost 100% clearing of my scalp Psoriasis, face, ears, eyes and nose. No more splits, no more cuts, no more perpetual, nagging pain.

Here are some pictures of my scalp Psoriasis and face Psoriasis which, as you can see, are almost healed. I took these pictures in the beginning of December. So I’ve progressed for another SIX weeks since then. You will also notice the severe cracking in the hinges of my neck (OUCH!!) where all the dead bacteria were being removed by my body, Nuts!

It feels very good to run my hands through my hair these days! No more large chunks, barely any dandruff. My scalp Psoriasis is gone!

I’ll be adding many pictures dated with my progress over the past six to eight months.

I had an interesting conversation with someone in the Psoriasis google plus community who has done an excellent job of medically breaking down what I have been building a belief around on how to get rid of Psoriasis naturally.

His thoughts and ideas on the oxygen depravity of the outer skin cells and how this can lead to a perfect harbor for bacteria leading to infection hit home with me Hard.

Here is a link to our conversation and to his document, I suggest you at least breeze over it once and form an opinion about his theory on the causation scenario and cure for the “viscious cycles” of Psoriasis.

I agree with most every point, especially on the specific aspects of Strep bacteria, which I’ve experienced multiple infections with as a child & young adult.

Wow, this picture shows me how much weight and the tan that I lost, lol! In addition, I can clearly see my body ridding itself of a widespread skin infection at this point. My back is almost clear. It was completely covered in large caking spots. There are NO more chunks of skin accumulating, just fading red blotches. As you can see, the spots clear from the inside out, which Dr. Pagano described in his book.

Remember, I have an extremely severe case of Psoriasis, which means the infection was widespread leading to my extensive healing process. If you have just a few spots, a little on your scalp or even moderate cases, I think your Psoriasis will heal much faster than mine is taking.

It has been almost eight months since I have used my typical DermaSmoothe steroid oil and a generic corticosteroid cream on my entire forehead to the eyebrows, lining of my scalp, ears, nose and eyes. I used a combo of the oil and cream to keep the symptoms of my scalp and face Psoriasis at bay for about seven years.

Since I started my alkaline approach to healing my Psoriasis, I made a vow to stop using these to make sure results I would experience weren’t tainted.

You can imagine what happened next. I always knew that using these topicals caused worse outbreaks when I would ever stop using them. This time around was no different. P rashed out over the forehead, eyes, nose, ears and scalp again. I would say it’s on at least 50% of my face.

With my new lifestyle shift in the way I eat and approach each day, I definitely notice constant improvement of my face and scalp.

In fact, at this point, I would say my scalp Psoriasis (which after first using the suggested DermaSmoothe treatment in 2006 was 100% covered) is about 80% healed! I have barely any caked skin or even dandruff on my scalp! This is where Psoriasis started for me in 2004, so it’s a special feeling to have progress here.

My face is slowly clearing along with the rest of my body. I can feel that this is mainly a filtration process. A liquid purification of my blood, which takes a lot of time. I do notice an awesome spectrum of healing setting in.

So guess what?!?

IN YOUR FACE PSORIASIS!

Every day I run a comb through my hair now, it’s not a minefield of skin, rather smooth and healthy and that is real Progress.

So, as you transition your diet and add more and more effective natural remedies for Psoriasis, understand that your face will be an exhaust point during healing.

The areas around the eyes, nostrils, ears are all normal exit orifices for toxins. The release of a huge excess of toxins is what the body is going through. Swelling, puffiness and discomfort here are just signs that your healing Psoriasis naturally!

I stick with basic lotion, along with Cuticura ointment occasionally, nothing crazy. I don’t like rubbing a lot of creams into my face. I use Aveeno soap and shaving cream, which is soft on the skin. I also get some sunlight on my face everyday, controlled exposure to Real sunlight is soothing and therapeutic for the face skin cells as they absorb the vitamin D and exfoliate in overdrive.

This is part of the growing pains of healing Psoriasis, so keep up the good fight! Remember, how long have you had Psoriasis? It takes a while of conviction to reverse it.

Leave a comment, ask me a question, tell me how you’ve been “facing” your healing journey…

Hello All My Psoriasis Healing Warriors!!

Happy Turkey Day to all out there. As we sit back and enjoy family, good food and whatever else floats your boat, take a moment to mark 5 monumental things you are happy for in your life. So, Here are mine:

My Family & True Friends

My Health & Prosperity as a Free Human

My Intellect and Intelligence (the ability to make conscious choices)

This beautiful planet I get to roam

MY HOMEOPATHIC PSORIASIS TREATMENT THROUGH DIET IS WORKING!

Yup, that’s right, I am only 5 weeks into my lifestyle transition towards a fully alkaline diet. I am making steady progress getting more and more acidic foods and combinations out of my face and replacing with green juices, alkaline-forming foods. I can’t believe how much this is helping with my psoriasis.

The main symptoms of Psoriasis I notice healing are

My skin regeneration cycle has slowed down by atleast 30%

Much less itching overall

My chest and abdomen which is 100% covered in P is much softer and much less pain

Behind my ears are softer

Much less dandruff coming off my scalp, and my scalp psoriasis in general feels almost completely gone!!

Am I jumping the gun in my optimism?
