I know there are a lot of diets out there, we are becoming more afraid of food with all the conflicting information. AIP, Paleo, Nightshade, eat this, not that. We get to a point where we feel like we can’t eat anything anymore!! What the heck, man!?!

So, lets simplify it and keep the mind busy on practicing, so it doesn’t wander into frustration!

I made progress when I focused on one thing and mastered it each week or two while not worrying about “EVERYTHING” at once.

I focused much more on what I was ADDING to heal, than SUBTRACTING everything I loved to eat.

Diets that suggest lots of animal fats, low carbs, no fruit are NO good, especially at first when your liver and gut need to repair, flush and heal.

Animal fats are really hard on the liver, and when it’s overtaxed, it can leave partially digested animal fats in the gut to putrefy and turn into food for pathogens and parasites. Stick to chicken, wild-caught river fish, lamb, turkey mostly. A little red meat here or there is ok, just avoid pork as much as possible.

Watch My Psoriasis Diet Skills Video Series

This is why liquids are so important, Alkaline Water, green juices, smoothies along with LOTS of raw fruits and vegetables.

FRUITS ARE YOUR FRIENDS, DO NOT FEAR THEM.

Try to go with just chicken, turkey or fresh/frozen wild caught river fish; (i.e. salmon, trout and bass) for animal meats right now as much as you can and not at every meal.

With meals, add herbs and spices. You will find that these bring a lot of flavor to food for your cooking.

Have a leafy salad before dinner, make that a rule, 10 minutes before, while you cook, eat your salad, with olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, lime or orange, coconut aminos, himalayan salt, pumpkin seeds for crunch and any veggies and fruits you want.

Try to minimize eggs for now. A few each week are not bad.

Use avocados, coconut oil, flax oil and flax seeds for protein and good fats.

So over the next few weeks, master one thing per week in this order:

Alkaline Water 3-4 liters every 24 hours – 1 liter with 1 whole lemon to start morning:

lemons

liquid chlorophyll

zinc (liquid zinc sulfate)

raw coconut water

keep a water container with you and keep it filled up and keep sipping all day

green juicing

Start morning with 8-16oz of ONLY fresh-made celery juice on empty stomach

Then do other simple juices in afternoon/evening like cucumber, apple, grape, grapefruit, spinach, ginger, cilantro, parsley, broccoli and asparagus – any combination of those

A good inexpensive juicer to get is the Hamilton Beach big mouth juicer – http://amzn.to/1oHipm9

Try to do the celery juice 4-5x per week, beyond that, just juice when you can. I know it takes a while, you have to clean the juicer, just build your skills up and stop worrying about time. Moment awareness provides therapy in the process. If you miss a juice, if you miss a week, no worries, there’s always a new week to start fresh.

herbal teas – I list my priority teas and tinctures in column E of my psoriasis diet spreadsheet here: http://bit.ly/phwfoods

Smoothie for heavy metal and pathogen elimination

Wild Blueberries (frozen)

Cilantro (coriander)

Banana

Watermelon or Cantaloupe

Bone broth

Ginger root

Kale or Spinach

Atlantic Dulse flakes

Chaga mushroom powder

Spirulina powder

Barley grass powder

Cacao powder

Filtered water or raw coconut water

eating

During the workday graze every couple hours, always have a red apple, orange, some berries, celery sticks, carrot sticks, grapes, dates, and melon chunks to munch on.

avocados, ginger, garlic, turmeric, black pepper, herbs/spices

sweet potato, quinoa, any green vegetables steamed or light saute in coconut oil / olive oil

salad before dinner

For sweetening, use raw unfiltered honey and raw stevia

go organic for fruits and veggies as much as possible. For lemons, oranges, avocados, grapefruit with thicker skin you can save money on those and not go organic, but anything you eat the skin of or leafy, try organic if you can.

Click this link and look at Column A on the spreadsheet for a grocery list of foods to go off of – Click here for a grocery list and healing remedies

MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you have a piece of pizza, a beer, a cookie, some cake, whatever, I don’t care about what it is. What I DO care about is that you don’t build guilt and just get back to work. A cookie aint gonna kill your progress, only your mind will. Just keep the mind busy on the protocol. When you slip off the horse, jump back on before the cart runs you over.

exercise

keep it aerobic as much as possible, do not over-exert into anabolic acidic state for too long.

isometric planks, stability ball, push ups, squats, lunges with no weights.

Yoga, very important for deep breathing, stretching, moving lymphatic, meditation

Try these Qigong movements when you wake up as you drink that first liter of lemon water – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbs49mL9I2s

You can have some black coffee. If you want to use milk, try almond or coconut milk. I put a teaspoon of coconut oil in my coffee, it gives it body and a buttery flavor.

Also, try and have an herbal tea with raw honey, slice of lemon and some coconut oil here and there.

This is plenty of homework to keep you busy for the next six weeks! Soon, I will make a post on herbal supplements once your body is healing from whole raw fruits and veggies and your are absorbing nutrients effectively.

Do not get too caught up in trendy diets like AIP, Nightshade or Paleo or specifics. Your body needs to heal and flush toxins. The above steps will do that. Click here for my ABCs and 123s for a Psoriasis diet strategy.

Avoid alcohol, white sugar, junk food, BCBs (Boxes-Cans-Bags), red meat, dairy, gluten and cigarettes as much as possible for a while.

With that said, when you do have a treat or go out to eat DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT. Eat, Enjoy, drink your Alkaline Water and get back to work. NO GUILT, NO REGRETS.

Don’t cheat yoself, TREAT yoself

IMPORTANT: as you eat healing foods and bring in fluids, the body will start to detox and this has a set of symptoms known as a Healing Crisis, I talk about this a lot. Symptoms such as extreme itchiness all over, redness, heat, acne, hives, swelling, new spots popping up in places you never had them before, fatigue, congestion, cold symptoms, aches and pains, nerve pain, emotional drain, hormonal imbalance, mood swings, anger, frustration, doubt, fear and negative thoughts.

Do not fear that the diet is causing this, it’s not. What’s happening is the healing foods and drink are FUEL that the body is using to reverse causes of the Psoriasis response. This reversal is causing these symptoms, they are signs of progress and must be embraced as part of the process.

Do not gauge any progress internally until six weeks in, then six months in externally (on your skin).

Your body is simply applying all energy and fuel to the healing process as it grows confidence in you to continue to fuel it.

At six weeks, you will notice digestive issues healing; constipation, heartburn, IBS, gastric problems, stomach pain, sluggish liver, diarrhea, nausea and ulcers.

The skin will show signs of healing at four to six months, depending on how deep the toxins are and how much toxic load you have to remove.

Read more about the Healing Crisis at this link – Healing Crisis

Keep fighting the good fight!

I want to keep my post on a diet for healing Psoriasis as simple as possible. I created & adhered to a few principles to allow myself to transition properly and stick to it:

I swore I would not be too hard on myself

I would focus on what to ADD, more than what to SUBTRACT

I would take the transition slowly & embrace the long journey

I would strive to minimize acidic foods and drinks I love, but NOT try to CUT OUT anything completely and have a treat day or two per week.

I would strive to maximize healing foods and alkaline water I needed

Most importantly, I would not measure progress by any one given day, good OR bad

I want you to write down this list above, where you will look at it every morning as you build up the proper practice around a Psoriasis diet that will heal you.

Commit it to memory, and start the morning out with a good stretch, and some breathing exercises. I’ll make another post that outlines the qi-gong, yoga and stability ball exercises I do soon.

Watch My Psoriasis Diet Skills Video Series

You must first find and be at peace with your healing, before any dietary approaches will really sustain and work.

This is the mind’s release to the body’s needs.

The mind must begin letting go of the desires attached to food and lifestyle a little bit, while embracing the new way of letting your body dictate nutrients, taste, flavors and fulfillment.

It is very important to release the tensions, anxieties and negative energies that all lead to stress as you are fundamentally adjusting your diet. It will get easier as your focus and awareness build up.

Stress reduction is a large part of healing naturally. You watch, when you find more peace in your life and your diet, you will notice marked improvements in your Psoriasis spots and joint pains.

I want you to understand that you may face any and all symptoms of your body as it digs deeper while you continue your commitment to the proper fuels it needs.

Your body needs to build up confidence in you, that overall, you will maximize the healing fuel, while minimizing the acids.

Ok, Here are my ABCs and 123s to focus on to keep your diet for Psoriasis manageable and practical.

Do your best to strive to these as an outline for each day.

Some days you will be better, some days you will cheat, BUT I want you to have these to fall back on and use as your foundation.

Do NOT do anything cold turkey – meaning, don’t quit any of your favorite foods for good. That approach will only hinder your progress via self-guilt when you have cheats (bound to happen occasionally).

A – Alkaline vs Acid Balance: The health of your bloodstream. That is your #1 goal, raising it from the depths of acidity into a healing environment that promotes regeneration of your immune system and the self-healing process. Strive each day to keep flooding your body with Alkaline Water. Try to have a green juice every other day to start, then work up to one a day.

B – Buffering The Belly: This is a little tactic that helps your body so much. The most important times to buffer are: first thing when you wake up in the morning (your most acidic), 30-45 minutes before an acidic-based meal, and right before bed. The easiest way to buffer is to flush in ONE liter of Alkaline Water first thing in the morning, 20-30 minutes before a meal and just before bed.

Won’t that make me stay up all night going to the bathroom?

YES, and you need to, especially while healing, because your body does it’s finest work while you sleep. When you are pumping in enough fuel to promote overtime, you will need to acid flush multiple times throughout the night. The basic rule is to go to the bathroom RIGHT when your body first signals, no matter when, to get rid of toxins. DON’T HOLD IT!

C – Chemical Combinations: There are certain combinations of foods and liquids that really screw up the chemistry of your guts. I notice bad combos being the main trigger for me. I don’t really have triggers any more, but combos will still twist my guts. Some common bad combos are milk in coffee, milk in cereal, well, milk in anything really. Drinking while eating creates liquid acid reactions. It’s better to not drink liquids during meals whenever possible.

Gluten, Dairy & Alcohol cause hell-fire reactions in the guts, simply because they end up being white, refined and fermented sugars that Candida and other potentially bad fungus thrive on.

You want a constant stream of water, juice, oils and the proper salts flowing through you. I will break down my 123s using the COWS approach.

1. Alkaline Water: I get asked a lot what I mean when I say Alkaline Water, I simply mean water with nutrients in it like lemon, chlorophyll, greens, and trace minerals. I make my Alkaline water using the following:

I start every day with 20-32 fl oz of lemon water.

I fill up my water bottle with Liquid Chlorophyll and Liquid Zinc Sulfate to sip on all day.

I strive for 3 liters of alkaline water every 24 hours. I keep it by my bedside and drink whenever I wake up. If you can’t get lemons/limes, putting the liquid chlorophyll in each liter is fine and GREAT for you! I also add a dropper of zinc along with that for trace minerals.

I also keep a bottle of green grass powders in the fridge. I have a cup of water with a 2 scoops mixed in the morning. These grasses are a powerful prebiotic (food source) for you gut bacteria. This strengthens your gut wall and heals Leaky Gut Syndrome.

Also, try unsweetened raw coconut water. The electrolytes fire up the body and heal the Liver. This is the best drink for before an after workouts, exercising to replenish electrolytes. Don’t drink Gatorade or other sports drinks they have NOTHING on coconut water. Coconut water counts towards your daily Alkaline Water intake goal.

Just doing this step will change the environment of your body quickly. It is essential to flush the systems constantly. Your relationship with water needs to be BFF style – Best Friends Forever.

Here’s what to get:
————————-

Liquid Chlorophyll – http://amzn.to/2Fe3ETB

Liquid Zinc Sulfate – https://amzn.to/2LPqFQU

Wild Greens powder – https://amzn.to/2AFaWyA

————————-

Water keeps the vehicle moving.

2. Green Juicing: There is no better way to introduce essential vitamins and nutrients than fresh green juice. Drinking the juice takes all digestive pressure off the body, so it can focus only on assimilation of the fuel it needs and apply it directly to where it needs to go! Green juicing is how you detoxify and heal the blood. Once you are healing the blood, you are healing all the internal vital organs and systems.

Something as simple as one juice a day, can increase your vitality and energy levels. Once you start carving out all the ancient sediment and waste in your intestinal tract, liver, and colon, your body will become vibrant and renew itself automatically! Without any pills, imagine that.

Click Here for a slow masticating juicer to buy.

My basic Psoriasis Juice recipe consists of celery, cucumber, broccoli, spinach and/or kale, cilantro, ginger, green apple, kiwi and carrot. I used this recipe for almost two years now with great success! You can make a bunch of the greens and store in fridge for a few days of juice. Do NOT mix in the apple, kiwi, broccoli and carrot if you store the juice, as this will make it acidic. You can add it in separately, OR, just make it all fresh each day.

Then I’ll put in a green apple, 1 kiwi, thumb of ginger, handful of broccoli (including the magical stalk) and a handful of baby carrots per serving, to sweeten it to taste, Yummy! You can get as creative as you want with your juice, the baseline principle is to get as many greens in as possible

3. Daily Stretching, Breathing, Yoga and Qigong

Click Here for my list of Healing Foods to eat and things to minimize and avoid as much as you can.

You want to strive to lower your caloric intake. This takes pressure off the digestive system and allows the immune system to regenerate. There are more studies showing that doing a fast occasionally can really help regenerate immune cells and immune activity.

When you do eat, strive to minimize gluten, dairy, red meat, white sugar and junk foods. Notice, I use the word “minimize” and not “cut out”. This is because I want this to be self-empowering for you, not self-limiting. Focus on what you are ADDING, more than SUBTRACTING. This is how I succeeded the third time around. So if you have a beer, or a cookie, or a piece of pizza, you will not punish yourself with guilt. Just enjoy it, then get back to work on your alkaline water and foods.

Maximize, raw vegetables/fruits, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil for cooking and try to keep you temperatures lower and cook al dente. Basically once any living food is at 200 degrees F or higher for more than a few minutes, it’s electro-activity dies. That’s a huge reason why raw foods are so beneficial. Their electrons are still vibrant and bouncing which causes a reaction in the cells.

Hello Warriors, I am writing a quick post in the spirit of Thanksgiving to talk about 5 things I am thankful for. I wrote a post on Thanksgiving last year, here is the list I put together then:

My Family & True Friends

My Health & Prosperity as a Free Human

My Intellect and Intelligence (the ability to make conscious choices)

This beautiful planet I get to roam

MY HOMEOPATHIC PSORIASIS TREATMENT THROUGH DIET IS WORKING!

This list remains the same, but throughout the year new meaning has resonated with me so I want to elaborate on that a bit and I’m going to freak you out with #5 ;).

1. My Family and True Friends

All alone is all we are without our relationships and the experiences we gain with each. We don’t realize how beautiful our life is sometimes, especially when we are struggling internally.

I was planning on writing this post yesterday on Turkey Day, but one of my best friends and business partner had an emergency. He was admitted to a hospital with a severe infection that the doctors had trouble identifying.

He’s been through a living nightmare the past two nights as the diagnosis goes from Cellulitus to Pneumonia, to a blood clot, it’s truly nerve-wracking.

He’s on the road to recovery and sleeping peacefully right now, as I sit next to him and count my blessings and realize how little my challenges are in comparison to a fight for your life. It has really put things in perspective.

He has been my #1 supporter this past year as I heal my Psoriasis, he does green juices with me, eats salads with me and is inspired to get as healthy as he can be which is helping him fight right now.

So, I am here for him and all those who need me. I love my family and friends, they are my biggest fans and my concrete foundation.

With them, I am Everything.

2. My Health & Prosperity as a Free Human

Our freedom, health and prosperity are oft taken for granted. I have been so very humbled and my awareness level to the power I have to help myself heal is peaking into pure understanding. I need my body, my body needs me.

I will never again, take any of them lightly. Especially as I watch my friend battle for his. We must take responsibility and be fully accountable to Self, vitality and wellness. It makes you a better person for those who love you with an insurmountably positive influence, and even for those you don’t even know yet, whom will need you greatly at some point.

Self-power and awareness are the keys to solace, peace and reason.

3. My Intellect and Intelligence
(the ability to make conscious choices)

This is the natural next step of being aware of health, prosperity and freedom. Our intellect is somewhat inherited and instinctual. Yet, our intelligence comes from our teachers, those we respect and our experiences throughout life.

When the two are cohesively balanced, you are reaching wholeness and calm. I will always use both to help those that need me. I will always use both to help myself before it’s too late. I will always use both for the greater good of mankind.

We all have the power of choice. Even when it’s a rock and a hard place scenario where there is a feeling of no way out. There is, and all the tools we need are right inside of us. They blossom in the form of our heightened intellect and growing intelligence. Always be an ambassador for peace and wellness.

4. This beautiful planet I get to roam

What a gift we have in the form of Earth and all of it’s eloquent beauty. Nature is a powerful force that goes mostly unnoticed as we commute in our cars, communicate on our cell phones and live more and more in a virtual space.

I have found taking time to go to the beach, or the top of a hill, or the woods, and just listening to life take its course can be extremely peaceful.

Let the energy and circular flow of Mother Earth rush through you like a raging river and feel that sensation of being a wave, gaining tidal momentum, or a glacier spurting out of the Earth from hot to cold.

Realize, that we beings are connected to this planet and it provides us everything we need to heal, balance and blossom like a beautiful flower.

Our environment is the space in which we heal, be aware and benefit

5. I am thankful for Psoriasis

Wait, what?!? I know, it sounds crazy. Some may stop reading right now, but don’t deprive yourself of this upcoming epiphany.

Psoriasis has taught me a great many things about myself. As soon as I chose to get in the game, take action and be a part of my healing…I started to heal, at that Very moment.

I am taking an active role to heal myself, which simply means my wellness, physical fitness, diet, and all other aspects of the physical manifest are the premises of my practice, that’s what I can easily control and has adjusted my attitude, I believe.

Don’t let anything or anyone strip your God-given power. We are divine creatures with the beautiful essence of choice, don’t waste that, use it and realize true happiness and fulfillment.

I woke up this morning to seeing my arms with no flakes of skin for the first time since 2006. SEVEN years ago, was the last time I looked at my arms and saw what I saw this morning. That, my friends, is a revelation, and I am the key player of this reckoning.

So are you. Take control, make a plan, create an active role for yourself and watch how the practice you formulate drives your healing.

As SOON as you see that first sign that your Psoriasis is healing, that your symptoms are reversing in the form of your skin clearing or your joint pain dissipating, you will be truly born again and renewed as a self-healer and a prophet for others who need you.

What do you have to be thankful for? Do you look at your Psoriasis as a curse or a blessing? Think about it and never take life for granted, it can be gone in an instant, but our souls, they go on forever.

Live soulfully, speak your truth, and live by your word. That is your best.var

Another beautiful morning on the beach down here in Tulum, Mexico where I live. The water was as calm as a lake, I felt peace and serenity as I stared out at the horizon…

where horizon meets the sky…

where vision meets the eye…

where true self-power is mine…

Every time I visit the ocean for my salt scrub and natural phototheraphy (aka the Sun), it inspires me to write. The salt soothes and exfoliates the skin, the water brings me a certain silence that I quite enjoy.

One that allows me to focus on my body and the work I am putting in, now that I have been consistently fueling it for over a year now. Practicing qi-Gong and Yoga have been a huge part of my healing journey.

I am putting together a workout plan for Psoriasis healing that will cover the poses and stretches I do everyday in great detail. There is so much power in our breath and energy is circular, it must constantly flow.

Well, the path continues with great steady progress. The practice gets tighter with more becoming second nature. My lifestyle has almost completed a paramount paradigm shift.

As my body continues to fight the good fight. I am noticing a fastening shift in the pace of my healing. I can tell that the Psoriasis symptoms, toxins and all pathogens are being flushed from my skin cells and tissues back into my bloodstream.

As this process progressively picks up the pace, there are 4 specific signs to look for that prove Psoriasis symptoms are healing completely. I want to go over these aspects with you so your confidence and conviction will continue to strengthen as your skin goes through every level of purgatory to cleanse and find balance…

1. Rashes progressively forming around spots

This is the most noticeable phenomenon of the healing process. At first, I was worried I had drawn another infection.

That wasn’t the case though, as the symptoms didn’t worsen and they seemed to be isolated around the more recent Guttate Psoriasis spots on my arms and legs. The rash has slowly spread around other spots.

This is why I’m excited about the rash, lol…the spots that it is spreading around are flattening and fading. So What I have concluded from this is that the rash is a sign of the toxins being purged from my skin cells and tissues and dissipating back into the blood stream for filtration and removal!

My body has figured out the full signature of these toxins and is systematically flushing them out, slowly but surely.

2. My large plaques are flattening and dispersing

Another pleasant aspect I’m noticing is the raised, irritated plaques of skin are smoothing out as I get rid of Psoriasis. As the excessive chunks of skin that form the plaques are mostly gone and much less red, I have noticed a large reduction in my overall inflammatory responses and itching episodes.

Whereas before, the spots would typically form and stay in perfect circles with raised edges, they now are breaking apart and spreading out. I haven’t had any new spots appear in over a month. I see this the most on my right leg, where a large perfectly circular plaque existed for over five years, is now a battle ground of irregularly shaped plaques and small zits.

As the toxins continue to move out of the skin and the body remains alkaline, the acidic condition that causes reactions and itching sensations is much less potent. I have slowly changed the arena in this game, and more victories come each day!

3. Puffiness and swelling on my ears, eyes and nose

As my body squeezes toxin out of every orifice, I believe this is a common reaction to have. I have soreness around my nostrils, chapped lips and some swelling in my ear lobes.

I had Psoriasis all over my scalp and face, so I expect that as this massive amount of detoxification goes on waste will be exiting at these spots. There will be continuous reactions to this healing process, I feel them being less and less significant.

I certainly feel a bit off, soreness and fatigue here and there, that’s part of the P healing growing pains. It is so important to get a good amount of sleep through this time. I focus on 7-8 hours a night. Getting some water in as soon as I get up and before bed. The primary goal I have for everyday is 3-4 liters of water. My next post will be about “how to alkalize your water to empower your cells”

The key is to stick to the practice, stick to the Psoriasis remedies that need to be added everyday. Make a sound effort towards removing a few certain foods and introducing others that can really help the body fuel up for this fight!

Stay practical, don’t go to extremes, a methodical approach is the way of the Warrior! I am on my way.

You will find inner peace in the practice
